What Others are Saying
THE MYTHS, THE TRUTH, & MORE

MYTH #1:
ISR make parents fill out a "barf & diahrea log"

The TRUTH:
ISR requires that a BUDS sheet is filled out each day to monitor the intake and output of each child.  We want to know the food, liquid, sleep patterns, and output (potty/poo-poo) of each child to ensure that each child has THE SAFEST LESSON POSSIBLE.   We do this because we are a professional organization with highly trained instructors who care about the health and safety of your child, first & foremost.

BECAUSE WE HAVE MANY SAFETY PROTOCOLS IN PLACE, WE ARE THE ONLY RECOGNIZED INFANT SWIMMING- DROWNING PREVENTION PROGRAM INVITED TO ADDRESS THOUSANDS OF PEDIATRICIANS VIA PEDIATRIC GRAND ROUNDS.  OUR FOUNDER, DR. BARNETT, IS KNOWN AS THE WORLD'S LEADING AUTHORITY ON CHILD DROWNING PREVENTION.

MYTH #2:
YOUR CHILD WILL BE TERRIFIED OF THE ISR METHOD.

THE TRUTH:
ISR does not employ terror methods for teaching.  Our methods are based in Child Psychology, Behavior Sciences, Anatomy, & Physiology.
We have taught over 6 million lessons with 100% safety record.  Families that have gone through the ISR lessons are our greatest asset.  We don't advertise as a National Corporation.  Our company has grown by word-of-mouth and referrals.
You are encouraged to visit a lesson or two prior to enrolling.  We have nothing to hide.  We DO NOT EMPLOY TERROR methods.

Why the myths:  Other instructional groups do not get the results that ISR gets because they do not have the research, medical staff, or 40 years of history to draw from like ISR does.  Frankly, the myths occur due to the almighty dollar.  Our competitors routinely use "scare tactics" when discussing ISR to others.  This is done because they are afraid to lose potential business and current clients.  They can't do what we do.   Our proprietary process is protected.
Testimonials:
We've been at another west side swim school for over a year and our son still couldn't float by himself.  We started with you and in three weeks, we had a full-on floater and he even flips over to get the edge (or bar).  We are very pleased.  Money well spent - glad we invested in you and ISR!

I had Jacob by the pool yesterday and he was getting pretty crazy on the side.  He ended up falling in, and did turn on his back right away to float.  He was much more careful around the water after that.  Thank you for all of your hard work!  Natalie really misses you!   ns

Thank you so much for your time, patience, and expertise the past three weeks teaching Anna.  We are both amazed at what you have done with Anna's swimming in a short period of time.  ISR has found themselves an invaluable instructor.  N, D & Anna

What will our days be like now without swim.... today my brother took the kids in the pool and Dakota did the whole sequence on his own so he could swim the length of the pool!! Yeah! He also fell off the step to get a toy and he floated!!
Thanks again for everything...

Today we had a great day.  He used to cry when it was time for swimming lessons and then he started running to you.  Then  he cried when it was time to get out of the pool.  Jane, you just can't win... haha.  Our little guy now wants to show off his ability to float.  He swam the length of the pool doing the swim-float-swim.  All this at age 2 - - what will age 3 bring us?  See you then,   SJ
