What They Learn:

6 Months to 12 Months:  Your baby will learn to "float".  We teach the child how to get to a face up and floating position.

Children 12 months to 6 years:
Your child will learn a "Swim-
Float-Swim" sequence.

Floating is a critical skill for children as their physiology does not allow them to hold their head up out of the water for a long enough period to safely gain oxygen as the body requires.  Being able to float, breath, and rest gives your child the best chance to get to safety.

Each child will be given opportunities to learn and feel the environment in a swim diaper, light summer clothing, and winter clothing.

Parents will be in the water occassionally to learn the best methods to continue the safe swim techniques learned by the child.
